Welcome to the 40th ESNR Annual Meeting, 24th Advanced Course on Diagnostic Neuroradiology  and 9th Advanced Course in Endovascular and Interventional Neuroradiology  in Malmö, Sweden September 13-17, 2017

Welcome to this annual meeting that will take place in the south of Sweden in Malmö, the third largest city in Sweden, located just at the seashore. Malmö is a vibrant, multicultural city that keeps growing.

I hope you will find the educational and scientific program appealing. There is a stronger focus on scientific and new advances in neuroradiology. We will have keynote lectures by Prof. Anne Osborn, Prof. Mauricio Castillo, Prof. Staffan Holmin, and Prof. Mark van Buchem and several other well-known national and international speakers.

We will, for the first time in the course of annual meetings, start one day earlier with a half-day pre course session CSF Disease: The Neuroradiological impact in diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) – is there a need for neuroradiology? Do not forget to register to this without any extra costs (included in the congress fee!).

The advanced course and annual meeting will be held at Malmö Live, located in the middle of the city just a few walking minutes from Malmö railway station. The Clarion congress hotel is located in direct conjunction with the Congress Centre and several other hotels are within less than five minutes walk from the Congress Centre.

I am welcoming you all to Malmö, the green and climate-smart city for the 2017 Annual meeting. I hope to see you all enjoying a great scientific program, friendship, and a good time in my lovely city.

Registration is open! And Abstract submission is possible from now on until March 15th 2017. Having the abstract submission open already will allow us to inform you early enough about acceptance of abstracts in order to plan your travel with sufficient time in advance.
